In a recent interview on the “Jay Shetty Podcast”, British star Tom Holland admitted that the Hollywood entertainment industry is not for him, and even “scares him”.
“I’m a big fan of filmmaking, but I really don’t like Hollywood. It’s not for me. I’ve seen a lot of people come before me and lose themselves. I’ve had people friends that I grew up with, but are no longer my friends because they have lost themselves in this job. Really, I just want to focus on what makes me happy like family and friends. .. Those are the things that make me truly happy and are the things I should protect” – Holland confided.
Previously in June, the actor announced that he would pause his activities in Hollywood for a while to rest and recuperate, after producing and starring in the series “The Crowded Room”. The actor said that after filming “The Crowded Room”, he will spend time with family, friends and also allow himself to rest and travel.
Tom Holland also admitted feeling lucky when he discovered he was addicted to alcohol and was able to quit before it was too late. The actor tried quitting alcohol in January 2022 to participate in a campaign not to drink alcohol at that time. However, the 27-year-old star quickly realized that she could not control this desire.
“I woke up and immediately thought about alcohol. I checked my watch and it made me really scared. So, I decided to punish myself and not drink alcohol for 2 months” – actor the Englishman confessed.
After these 2 months, Tom Holland felt extremely miserable when using alcohol. Ultimately, the Marvel star decided it was time for rehab. Up to now, Tom Holland has been successful without drinking alcohol for the past 6 months.
